Black always has me in awe. Its refined and classic, and its elegant and sultry- all at the same time. Its a colour you can probably never tire of, never wear or own enough of . Its versatility awes me along with its ability to make you look smashing in every possible angle. Bloated days- wear black, tired days- wear black, happy days- wear black, first date-wear black, job interviews- wear black, feeling sexy -wear black, feel meh – wear black. You see, black can do miracles to your very being. So why shouldn’t one be in awe ?
This evening, I had to attend an informal work dinner and I had three boxes to tick. It had to be quick, effortless and suave. So I settled on something that wasn’t too dressy nor too casual. So the perfect blend you ask – black obviously! I wore this immaculate flare sleeve black crop top by Finders Keepers and some high waisted black cigarette pants with some gold button details from one of my new favourite Australian designer brand – Asilio.
To give the outfit an extra smash of sass, I paired it with some chunky black and gold earrings from Kookai.
To neutralise the amount of blacks dominating the outfit, i styled it with a soft brown clutch from witchery.
And, some brown suede chunky gladiator style heels from Windsor smith.
I kept the accessories minimal with a few gold rings.
I sincerely hope you enjoyed this editorial and I do apologise for the infrequent and waning number of blog posts this year. I can assure you, that blogging and fashion is a love i will never let go off and will strive to bring you more quality and different posts as i can make do.
