Summer Lovin

Oh The summer feels ! The onset of fresh neutrals and flirty florals. However, in todays edit, I decided to bring you the former- fresh neutrals, some light and lots of love on this valentines day. Valentines day calls for bright and feisty colours reminiscent to the colour of the heart but it is absolutely Ok to bring that vibe a notch down with fresh and crisp colours that is bound to bring out your skin tone, the softness of your face and that twinkle in your eye. 

I love neutrals, its something about that soft, feminine, and refined undertone to it. This valentines day, I decided on a powder blue body-con dress from Kookai. Kookai has been a favourite label and one of the reasons I love neutrals and shades of pastel. It has a parisian theme to its clothing that exudes a youthful and confident demeanour. The material is stretchy and soft and has a very relaxed feel to it, yet giving out a sensual appeal given the slit over the right knee.

I have dressed it up with a contrasting tangerine coloured multi strand necklace from Tilkah. Even though is a very simple outfit, it makes a point to standout because of the stark juxtaposition to the soft blue dress. I have also added a three finger pearl ring by Lovisa and some nude Nine West wedged mules to balance the whole attire. 

Lastly, on a personal touch, minimal makeup and some soft waves in your hair will charm that mystery man in no time. Whatever attire you wear, whether its a date night or a single ladies night, a sassy body con dress will give you that confidence to take on any valentines night with élan!
