Oh hello there – If you are new to my blog, WELCOME !
You probably know me from the world of instagram, but I actually have been here longer, blogging since the dawn of 2016. I took a long hiatus from blogging, but have been looking for the perfect oppertune moment to come back. I could find a better a time and place to have picked up my keyboard and write. All I needed was a trip to the countryside in my coat and oversized bucket bag to pick some pampas grass.
And if you have been following me for 5.5 years and bit – I LOVE YOU ! thanks for staying.

Greener Cleaner winter

I write this blog post with so much contentment and pride – one for this is my first proper paid campaign with a company like Portman’s and secondly, I have finally transitioned my “Instagram husband” to a proper blog photographer.
When Portman’s reached out, I had to read and the re-read the email twice – ME ! What me? I was ecstatic and ridiculously scared, thinking if I’d do justice, you know which my full time demanding job and all, and then i reminded myself, yes I will, this is what i love doing. And I am going to put my best foot forward and love every minute of it. And loved i did.

Where-ever the road takes me , i tell myself these days – as long as I am still blessed to be encased in a warm coat and good boot to walk.
In this time when things have been challenging and immensely dire for so many in the world, i consider myself privileged and acknowledge the comforts of my home, wherein i sit and type the blog post, to feed my soul.

So lets get back to the coat, I chose this emerald colour turtle neck for a coat, that is just so beautifully tailored and structured and those who know me, know how much I love a structured apparel.

I paired it some very skinny khaki leggings and some combat style boots.
Now i know all that craze that surrounds a good combat style boot. These are so ridiculously comfy ! Oh lordy-lord ! I was stomping around the grassland like no body’s business in these.

Its not just enough to wear clothes that fit you well – I believe in order to make a statement, wear an attitude that befit the clothes…

If you think it’s hard to dress stylish in winter, without looking like a frump covered in layers of clothing, well, you’re not the only one. But winter style doesn’t have to mean dressing like a marshmallow. I am petite, 53 kgs and 5’3cms in height, I am pretty straight where the boobs and butt is supposed to be, i get an occasional pouch (which takes the liberty to grow over winter :/) – So I love a structured dressing, I love my jackets oversized and coats structured, especially over winter.
I dont particularly layer under coats, but yes under jackets/blazers. I do believe with a few winter fashion tips like such, it’s easy to look stylish and stay warm at the same time.

Hope you have a fantastic winter and please do not forget to check back for more fashion and lifestyle blogs lined up. Much, much love! ❤
