Ah Spring … at last ! Even though the incessant drizzle today feels like anything but spring as i vigorously type away on my keyboard, but its the vibe that counts and the momentary sun, i believe.

Nonetheless, welcome to my first spring feature. My heart flutters this season, as we see the spring-summer trends launch with so much panache and élan! This season every look has the transformative power to make everyone look and feel like a runway model via sheer prints: florals, stripes, gingham and checks. Prints have been so big this season, as it adds modern shape to any silhouette, while also remaining unstructured, so the pieces will drape flatteringly on any body.

So to kickstart my feature for spring, I decided to go with this floral, maxi style jumpsuit from Sheike- that screamed spring the moment i laid eyes on it.

This relaxed style maxi jumpsuit, features a v neckline with thin straps at back and hidden zip closure. This style has a adjustable tie that can be worn at the front or back, with full length splits on the pants.

Keeping the vides light, floral and refreshingly pastel, I decided to go with my light blue Emilio Pucci bag.

Style tip: If you have a petite frame like me, to avoid drowning in a maxi dress/flowy jumpsuits, look for the one that chinches at the waist and has a V-neck. It gives an illusion of a longer torso.

To keep matters simple and light i chose some white block heels from Verali. You could also wear bright pink and orange peep-toes to make things vibrant or even better- those gladiator sandals if you have been bestowed with that enviable height !

I am wearing a lariat necklace from Jolie & Deen as a minor accent to the outfit.

In Melbourne, the weather has proven itself to be quite erratic and can unceremoniously change its course, so its always handy to keep a jacket at bay. For this feature however, I am wearing my favourite tweed jacket from Masse.

I believe its important to invest in a few key pieces in one’s wardrobe, be it a leather jacket, a statement purse, a good crisp white shirt, blue denims and a good tweed jacket. Irrespective of the fashion trend changing every season, these key pieces are timeless.

For accessories I am wearing some silver disc earrings and middle finger ring from Collete and my gold sunglasses from Quay.

I really hope you enjoyed my spring edit. This season its the attitude and comfort that comes foremost. Wear what makes you feel like a million bucks and wear it with an attitude that comes with comfort and confidence.
