Happy April everyone !

Only 7 days in and its been one insane month already! I have been so busy lately, that I have sincerely been enjoying wearing lots of practical dresses, especially ones with some exaggerated sleeves, and contrast boots. Easy-Peasy mac’n’cheesy !

A personal favourite for this transitional weather has always been a great figure hugging, A-line dress, but for this year things are looking a little different. I am steering more towards materials like thicker linen facbric and canvas . Not only are these materials back in the stores, and on the runway, they are also being used widely by designers as these materials are sustainable – which means these materials can not just be worn for a weekend brunch but also for your fortnightly drinks!

I have always been fond of dresses, but now its almost mandatory for me that they are also practical and multi-functional . That can take me from desk to dawn, from errands to events !

I have this C/MEO Collective dress in mind when I talk of a versatile, multifaceted piece of garment! The double breasted front opening makes a very trendy jacket as well – however for this look, I needed it to be one garment, one function- that is to get me from one place to another looking very much in control and look great in the process, ofcourse !

There are are only two major accessories to this whole look –

  • The Tony Bianco red leather pull-on ankle boot with a pointed toe front
  • The classic Chloe small Faye bag in Olive green. (Shop similar here)

This dress could also look great with some white sneakers and a backpack or dress it up with some nude stilettos and an ruby encrusted clutch.

To tie up the this whole look I threw on some over-sized , gold rimmed dramatic glassess by Dolce and Gabbana. And some really long uneven, gold statement earrings by Lovisa.

I know I am lagging behind one blog for the 4th month, but I am working really hard to get you another post soon !! Means two posts this month ! And – heads-up I might dissapear for a while as I am working towards a brand new look for my website as well.

However, I hope you really liked this blogpost and let me know if you have any special requests going forward. I promise to see you soon !
